How to put password to your Word 2007 files

First Step: If you normally work with files in Word and you want to know how to protect them from opening or modifying the other people, you know you have the option to save on password. If you have not discovered how to do it in Word 2007, you are certainly not alone. Microsoft has hidden this option much earlier so you could see easier. Here's how to put password to a Word file in four easy steps.

1. Access your Word document and click on the symbol Office, located in the upper left end of the program. Click on the "Save As" and select "Word Document". 

2. Put a name to the document and click on the "Tools" at the bottom of the box. Go to "General Options".

3. Now, in the field "Password to open" must enter the password you want to protect your openness. If you want to write protect, must fill the field "Password". When you finish and press "OK", the system will ask you to rewrite the password.

4. Each time you want to access the document, Microsoft Word system will prompt for the password. Try not to forget because they are not recoverable. But if you want to stop protecting the documents, you must follow the same steps, remove passwords and click "OK".

How to modify the properties of the field

Open the form or report, double click on the title in the "Navigation Pane" on the left side of the screen. Click the "Home" tab of the ribbon at the top of the page, select "View" and select "Design View" to edit object properties. This changes the form or report to an editable mode.

 Click the button "Property Sheet" tab "Design" ribbon. Select "Form" or "Report" type selection drop-down box at the top of the window "Property Sheet". Click the "Data" tab of the property sheet to access the source properties of the form or report.

Click the drop-down box to select a different table or query as your source. To modify the current source, click the "..." button to the right to open the original query view.

Make changes in the source fields to sort, add and remove fields. You can also set a criterion for the fields to display only the records that meet certain criteria. Save the query and the form or report and switch to basic "Form" or "Report" to review the changes.

How to create tables from templates

When you create a database, data is stored in tables, which are lists of rows and columns based on topics. For example, you can create a Contacts table to store a list of names, addresses and phone numbers, or a Products table to store information about products. Always start designing a database by first creating your tables, even before creating other database objects.

A simple database, such as a contact list can contain only one table, but there are many databases that contain multiple tables. When you create a new database, create a new file that serves as a container for all objects in the database, including tables.

You can create a table by creating a new database, inserting a table in an existing database or importing or linking a table from another data source, such as a Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Microsoft Office Word document 2007, text file or another database. When you create a new blank database, automatically inserts a new empty table. Then you can write data to start defining the fields.

Create a table from a table template

To create a table Contacts, Tasks, Issues, Events or assets, you might want from a table templates for these topics to be included in Office Access 2007. Tables templates were designed to be compatible with lists of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 the same name.

Click the Microsoft Office button, and then click Open.
In the Open dialog box, select and open the database.
In the Tables group on the Create tab, click Table Templates, and then select one of the templates available from the list.
Insert a new table based on the template you selected table.
